I am a sophomore at ERAU in Daytona Beach Florida. During my time here I have been shocked to discover how often students are left in need of help without anyone to call. Combine that with the fact that dealerships charge from $150 to $200 per hour just to do simple maintenance, and suddenly, its much easier just to let that check engine light stay just a little longer.
I plan to change that. I work for college students at a price that is unrivaled by the dealers because I know how it feels to pay tuition, housing, and meal plans, as well as the cost of living during this crazy era. I have always had a passion for wrenching and doing anything mechanical, and that's why I work for the prices I do. While the profits help me pay for college and more tools to expand my capabilities, I mainly do this for the love of it.
Meet the truck that started it all:
What started life as a stock 2014 GMC Sierra Denali became the 700hp monster it is. I have done all of the work myself including swapping in the Texas Speed 427ci (7.0L) LT1. It is the stock block, but everything inside has changed. There are many more plans for it, including a new coat of paint and a fiberglass widebody kit to really beef it up while reducing the weight.
